The ADM232AARW line driver/receiver is intended for all EIA-232-E and V.28 communications interfaces, especially in applications where ±12 V is not available. The ADM232AARW features a low power shutdown mode that reduces power dissipation to less than 5 mW, making them ideally suited for battery powered equipment. Two receivers remain enabled during shutdown on the ADM232AARW. The ADM232AARW does not require any external component and is particularly useful in application where printed circuit board space is critical. Applications of the ADM232AARW include Computers, Peripherals, Modems, Printers, Instruments.
